ETNA aims to analyze, design and validate future metro and core networks based on low cost and secured Ethernet technology that will serve as a basic transport layer of future communication networks. The consortium is comprised of six partners from Finland, UK, and Israel each with different technological expertise. ETNA is a two year project co-funded by the European Commission in the Seventh EU Framework Program of Research and Technological Development (FP7) consisting of the following partners:
